Dunleer/Dundalk PPP

PMS Pavement Management Services Ltd. carried out a comprehensive baseline pavement evaluation study on the Dunleer Bypass and Dundalk Motorway sections in 2001. Over 100 lane-kilometres of carriageways and ramps were evaluated using ARAN, SCRIM and FWD equipment and visual condition assessment using the PCI was also carried out. The clients were Roughan & O'Donovan Consulting Engineers, MC O'Sullivan & Co. Consulting Engineers and the National Roads Authority. The data gathered are used to provide information to tenderers for the M1 motorway Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme.
